This past week, I decided to get out of dodge for a while and take a small road trip upĀ around Western North Carolina. I was ready to see some fall colors, turn off the (work) phone for a while, and see some friends I haven’t seen in a long while. Amorphophallus Titanum at Tropical Bamboo

Wow!  What a wild experience. Over the past few weeks, I had been keeping an eye on the Amorphophallus Titanum (corpse flower as it is known) getting ready to bloom at Tropical Bamboo Nursery & Gardens in Loxahatchee, Florida (West of West Palm Beach).
